Technically Media is a digital media company that specializes in niche communities and career advancement. Presently we publish Technical.ly, a multi-local news site focused on economic growth, and Generocity.org, which reports on the nonprofit and philanthropic sector in Philadelphia.

Our Story: Founded in Philadelphia in 2009 by three young journalists, Technically Media has always prioritized serving communities of people by informing and connecting them, with special preference toward advancing their careers. The company started by reporting on local entrepreneurship, technology and innovation with what became Technical.ly. In fall 2015, Technically Media began publishing Generocity.org, a social impact news site founded by philanthropist Sandra Baldino.

Our Location: We are headquartered in the historic Curtis Center in Old City Philadelphia, with a satellite office in Baltimore. We additionally have reporters based in each community we serve.
