The office of Congresswoman Mary Gay Scanlon is hiring a Communications Assistant based out of her district office in the Philadelphia area.
Qualified applicants must have strong writing and editing skills, a keen understanding of social media platforms, a passion for digital media, and a desire to work collaboratively.
Daily tasks include but are not limited to managing the Congresswoman’s social media pages, writing engaging social copy, making creative digital content (including graphics and videos), compiling daily press clips, maintaining the Congresswoman’s website, supporting and staffing district press conferences and press events, and supporting the communications team as needed.
The position is based out of the Congresswoman's district office in Chester, PA, and will report to the Communications Director based out of Washington, D.C.
The salary range for this position is $46,000 - $50,000, commensurate with experience.
